Debt service is set against the free cash flow of each year. A ratio below 1.20 is refused by most banks.
| Year | Free cash flow | Debt service | DSCR | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2025 | €268,000 | €149,000 | 1.80 | Met |
| 2026 | €251,000 | €149,000 | 1.68 | Met |
| 2027 | €277,000 | €149,000 | 1.86 | Met |
The net debt / EBITDA covenant is exceeded by 0.01 point in the current year: the bank has to be told before the accounts are closed.
Each ratio is compared with the two previous years and with the sector median, to tell a drift apart from a normal swing.
| Ratio | 2025 | 2026 | 2027 | Sector |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| EBITDA margin | 17.1% | 14.2% | 10.3% | 12.0% |
| Customer payment days | 42 | 46 | 52 | 45 |
| Gross margin rate | 60.0% | 58.1% | 56.0% | 57.5% |
Three ratios out of eleven are off the sector median. The erosion of the gross margin alone explains half of the EBITDA margin lost.
For accounting firms, businesses, business leaders, self-employed professionals and consultants.
A complete financial plan, compliant with the law of the file's country, from incorporating a company to applying for financing:
In French, Dutch or English: you choose the report language when you print it.
Yes, in beta: the financial plan module is open to a small number of firms. You can sign up via the beta form.
The Financial Analysis module, planned after the financial plan, will calculate the main ratios and indicators:
Yes. Each ratio will be positioned against companies in the same sector, by quartile, so you can tell whether a figure is low, average or high.
Yes: the break-even point, the margin of safety, the date in the year on which it is reached, and operating leverage.
The Credit File module will prepare the financing application:
Yes. A simulator varies revenue, margin, interest rate, term and loan amount, and immediately shows the effect on repayment capacity. Compliance with a bank covenant, such as the net debt / EBITDA ratio, is also checked.
The value of the business and its future cash:
Several methods, weighted to give a value range:
Yes: the value of a shareholding, with a minority discount, and the value created or destroyed by an investment project, by comparing forecasts with and without the project.
Yes. A shared financial engine relies on each country's own accounting frameworks, with standardised financial categories and configurable ratio definitions.
Other applications take over, using the same data:
No, FinSighter can be used on its own. If your firm uses FidSighter, every company entered in it is immediately available in FinSighter, with no need to enter it again.
Yes. The firm invites the business, publishes deliverables and talks with the business leader in a discussion thread specific to the file. The business leader can also follow their figures day to day in BizSighter.
You freeze a version, for example the one sent to the bank, then you can compare two versions or go back to an earlier one.
Yes, in CSV: accounts, ratios, projections and debt service, so you can rework them in a spreadsheet.
